Round 1 Finalists

Why are you interested in the Executive Director position at St. Croix Prep?

Dr. Jennifer Fuchs

Dr. Jeremy Perrin

Mr. Adam Holm

Dr. Joseph Hill

Dr. Michael Neubeck
I am interested in the Executive Director role at St. Croix Prep. because its mission to cultivate academic potential, personal character, and leadership through classical education aligns with my values and leadership philosophy. My experience as a principal, district administrator, and curriculum director has prepared me to lead diverse educational environments, implement data-driven strategies, and foster collaborative teams. I am eager to continue contributing to the classical education community, a passion that began during my undergraduate studies, and to further my work in charter schools with a commitment to student-centered, inclusive practices. I'm excited to support SCPA's growth while honoring its classical tradition.
I would like to be the Executive Director at St. Croix Prep for the very same reasons that I originally became a school leader: to have a positive impact on school learning, to help every child reach his or her potential, to mentor and support faculty, and to help shape educational policy and initiatives on a more global level. These reasons are even more true today after 17 years in leadership, as I have seen how a dynamic school leader can have a profound impact on many aspects of school life and climate. It would be an honor to and a pleasure to apply these concepts to this to a school with such a fine track record and wonderful community such as St. Croix Prep.
I am drawn to St. Croix Prep's commitment to develop individual academic success along with the character in its students. Having been committed to education my whole career, I look forward to leading an institution focused on high academic performance balanced with a familial and community environment. I believe, with a number of years leading teams and driving organizational success, I am prepared to support both faculty, students, and families at St. Croix Prep. My experience in strategic planning, resource management, and building collaborative environments will serve me well in helping to lead the school toward continued success and increased growth.
After twenty years in public education leadership and a gap year turned transformative decade founding Higher Performance Group, I'm drawn to SCPA's demonstrated excellence. As a Stillwater (North Hill) resident who has devoted my life to unlocking the potential of people, teams, and systems, I see a perfect alignment of community, contribution, and capacity. SCPA's track record as Minnesota's #1 performing district, with its remarkable 95% staff and 96% student retention, reflects the kind of culture I've dedicated my career to building. With ten years remaining to make my greatest impact, I seek to protect SCPA's rich legacy while accelerating its next-level potential as the highest awarded and highest rewarded system in Minnesota.
I am excited about the opportunity to serve as Executive Director of St. Croix Preparatory Academy and contribute to such an exceptional institution. As a former White Bear Lake resident and administrator in Mahtomedi Public Schools, I have a deep understanding of the local educational landscape. My philosophy aligns with St. Croix Prep's mission-developing each student's academic potential, personal character and leadership qualities. I'm drawn to the Academy's commitment to fostering lifelong learners and critical thinkers. I look forward to collaborating with educators and supporting a seamless K-12 classical education. Passionate about student success, I bring strengths in relationship-building, strategic thinking, and leadership.

What areas of expertise would you bring to St. Croix Prep?

Dr. Jennifer Fuchs

Dr. Jeremy Perrin

Dr. Joseph Hill

Dr. Michael Neubeck
I bring extensive expertise to St. Croix Prep., including strategic planning, instructional leadership, and data-driven decision-making. My background as a principal and district administrator has equipped me to lead continuous improvement initiatives, foster distributive leadership, and implement Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) to address diverse student needs. I have managed complex budgets, ensured financial stability, and promoted equity through cultural competency training and inclusive practices. Additionally, I have strong experience in governance, stakeholder engagement, and crisis management. My work as an adjunct professor enhances my ability to support professional development and leadership growth.
In my previous role as the Executive Director of the International Spanish Language Academy, (a school which is consistently ranked as one of the top charter schools in the state of Minnesota due to our academic excellence). Due to this experience as a charter school leader, I understand what it means to be a superintendent of a charter school in Minnesota–and all that this implies, including governance, compliance, board collaboration, operational concerns, etc. I also thrive on building effective teams, building school improvement plans, teacher mentorship, strategic plan execution, fundraising, entrepreneur activities, and innovation.
I am a student-centered leader who focuses on individual academic success and character development. As an instructional leader, my experience will support teachers in moving forward with continuous improvement in classroom practices. I operate on integrity, ensuring transparency and building trust with all stakeholders. I believe in clear, open communication and involving the learning community in decision-making. My flexibility allows me to adapt to changing circumstances and find innovative solutions. I am committed to building a supportive community where students and staff are thriving together.
I build exceptional teams that lead smart systems. As HPG's founder and executive coach to campus leaders nationwide, I create strategic networks that maximize institutional impact. At SCPA, I would leverage this expertise to enhance the Foundation's capabilities while upholding rigorous standards for exceptional learning environments. While SCPA is already the Midwest's most awarded school, my vision is to make it the most rewarded-creating a model where educational excellence pairs with professional dignity, advancing both student achievement and the conditions honoring the dedicated professionals shaping our learners' futures. My leadership emphasizes preserving and strengthening SCPA's foundational ethos.
With 30 years of experience as an educational leader, I bring a skill set well-suited for an Executive Director. As Superintendent, I honed my communication skills while securing a $44M bond referendum and navigated COVID-19 with clear protocols that prioritized safety and student learning. As a principal, I strengthened my instructional leadership by focusing on rigorous curricula and mentoring educators to inspire student success. I value integrating a rigorous education with hands-on learning, preparing students for life beyond high school. My leadership emphasizes building cohesive systems and strong relationships with staff, students, and the community. I am eager to bring my expertise and vision to the St. Croix Prep community.
